Rapist in judicial custody
(Siasat News): Bahadurpura police had arrested a youth for allegedly raping a nine-year-old girl, has sent him to judicial custody.
DCP, south zone, Mr. Tarun Joshi said that Arun Kumar, 20, has been working at water works in Golnaka. He was the resident of Kishanbaug. He had called the 9-year-old girl, his relative, to an abandoned house and committed the crime.
Mr. Tarun Joshi further said that any crime against women would be viewed seriously and women would be provided foolproof security.
Man ends life over financial crunch
(Siasat News): A man who was in financial crisis, committed suicide. This incident occurred in Meerpet police station limits where Narsingh Rao, 52, consumed pesticides on April 22.
He was immediately shifted to the hospital where he died during the treatment. The deceased was the resident of Saroornagar.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Man electrocuted to death
(Siasat News): A man who came into contact with live wire and died. This incident occurred in Rein Bazar police station limits where Syed Ahmed Ali, 32, died late last night during the treatment.
Resident of Yakutpura, the deceased was working in a house at SRT Nagar on April 19. He was shifting the iron rods from one floor to another.
The iron rods got a touch with electric wires. That gave him a severe electric shock and received burn injuries. He died during the treatment.
A case has been registered and further investigations are in progress.
Tension in Golconda over temple
(Siasat News): Tension prevailed in Golconda after miscreants started the extension work of an illegal temple.
With immediate intervention of police, the situation was brought under control and the extension work of the temple was stopped.
Police said that the temple would remain in its present structure and no extension work will be allowed. However, during festivals, no hindrance would be created for the faithfuls.
