Theft in sub-inspector’s house

(Siasat News): In a bizarre incident, an incident of theft took place in the house of a sub-inspector who is associated with Malakpet police station.

ccording to the details, sub-inspector Yadgiri, a resident of Vani Nagar, Saeedabad, had gone to his duty as usual whereas his family members had gone to meet some of their relatives. Hence the house was locked.

This situation gave the thieves a golden chance and they broke open the lock of the house and gained entry.

As they were about to leave the house after stealing 15 tolas gold ornaments, they came face to face with sub-inspector Yadgiri but unfortunately, he failed to arrest them. Saeedabad police has registered a case.


Another dowry death

(Siasat News): A woman committed suicide in Amberpet police station limits as she was harassed for more dowry.

22-year-old Lalitha ended her life by setting herself ablaze and died in the hospital during the treatment. The deceased was the wife of one Chiranjeevi of Prem Nagar in Amberpet.

Both of them got married in 2007 and had two children. Of late, Chiranjeevi was demanding Rs. 2 lakhs and kept on harassing Lalitha.

He was mentally and physically torturing her. When Lalitha was fed up of his atrocities, she took the extreme step. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Notorious thief arrested

(Siasat News): Tappachabutra police has arrested a notorious thief and recovered the stolen materials from his possession and sent him to jail.

According to inspector Fareeduddin, 25-year-old Ismail, resident of Bilal Nagar, Kale Patthar, had committed a crime on April 23 as he had stolen a sum of Rs. 11000 from a petrol pump.

Following the complaint of the petrol pump owner, police has registered a case and after the investigation Ismail was arrested. Ismail is a habitual thief and had sentenced to jail after Shivrampally, Moghalpura and Mir chowk police had taken action against him earlier.

Financial crisis led to suicide

(Siasat News): A 23-year-old man who was financially in doldrums, took the extreme step of ending his life.

This incident occurred in Kulsumpura police station limits where Chinayya, a mistry, set himself ablaze and died last night. The deceased was the native of Mahboobnagar and has been living in Ziaguda. He got married just two months back and had a two-month-old son.

However, he was not going to his work regularly for quite some time and moreover, formed the habit of consuming alcohol.

On April 19, he had gone in search of work, but failed to get one. Out of frustration, he took the extreme step. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
