Husband kills wife

(Siasat News): A woman was killed by her husband in suspicious circumstances at Mailardevpally.

It is said that the deceased Rukhsana Begum, was the wife of one Ashraf of Roshan colony. Yesterday, she had come to see her parents.

However, when she was reprimanded by her husband she had gone back to her in-laws house where she was found dead. Her relative informed the mother of the deceased.

She got married to Ashraf four years ago who was the native of Haryana. Both husband and wife along with their 3-year-old son Ayaan had migrated To Hyderabad four years ago.

Ashraf was reportedly a labourer and had been harassing Rukhsana for more dowry since last two/three months. Police is further investigating.

Man electrocuted to death at Afzalgunj

(Siasat News): A man was electrocuted to death in Afzalgunj police limits. It is said that the deceased M Narsimha, 30, a vegetable vendor, has been residing at Sanjay Gandhi Nagar in Gowlipura.

Today, when he was getting ready to go out and was about to start his motorbike, a live electric wire fell on his vehicle that proved fatal as he was also electrocuted and had sustained severe burn injuries.

Though he was taken to the hospital but could not survive. A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.

Seven women arrested for gambling

(Siasat News): The special operation team of Cyberabad in a crackdown operation arrested seven women who were involved in gambling.

On a tip-off, the SOT had conducted a raid at an apartment in Chaitanya colony situated at Green Hills where a flat was used as a gambling den.

Police seized an amount of Rs. 26,000 and seven cellphones from their possession. Police sources further said that the women belonged to the affluent class of the society.

A case has been registered and the arrested women were handed over to Chaitanyapuri police.
