Sub-inspector caught red-handed
(Siasat News): The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau has arrested a sub-inspector associated with Nallakunta police station, red-handed while demanding and accepting the bribe.

According to the details, sub-inspector Sheikh Mastan Wali was arrested while he was accepting a bribe of Rs. 6000 from the complainant V Chiranjeevi.

According to official sources, Chiranjeevi, in his complaint, said that his motorcycle was involved in a road accident and was seized by the police.

To release the same vehicle, sub-inspector was demanding Rs. 6000. After he was caught, a chemical test was done on his hand that proved positive. He would be produced in the special ACB court.

Man brutally murdered

(Siasat News): A man was brutally murdered at Saat Amrai village in Shamshabad and later, the killers thrown his body on the railway tracks.

The deceased was identified as Surender Reddy, 25, resident of Saat Amrai and a bike mechanic by profession. Some unknown assailants had slit his throat and thrown his body on the railway tracks.

Railway police Kachiguda has registered a case and trying to ascertain the motive behind this brutal killing. Further investigations are on.

Failed love affair led to suicide

(Siasat News): A man who was very upset over his failed love affair and negligent behaviour of his beloved, ended his life.

This incident occurred in Panjagutta police station limits where Pawan Kumar, 30, hanged himself to death in his house. He was a private employee and has been living in Panjagutta but hailed from Bheemavaram.

Panjagutta police said that he was in love with a girl but she was not reciprocating. This made him gloomy and led him to take the extreme step. A case has been registered.

Robber’s gang arrested

(Siasat News): Begum Bazar police has arrested a 4-member gang involved in snatching cellphones and cash from the passengers traveling in autorickshaws.

Inspector Begum Bazar Mr. Kiran Kumar said that the 4-members gang was nabbed which was comprised of Syed Azhar, 19, Mohd. Jameel, 20, Tajammul Baig, 23 and a minor. Eleven cellphones were seized from their possession.

The modus operandi of this gang was that it used to snatch cellphones and cash from the passengers.
