Rag picker attacks woman

Hyderabad, August 24 (Siasat News): In a bizarre incident, a rag picker attacked a woman with a knife at Income Tax department situated at Banjara Hills that sent shock waves in the department.

As per the details, 25-year-old youth used to shift the garbage. Today, he attacked the wife of senior account officer Parveen Kumar’s wife with a knife.

When she raised alarm, the youth got himself injured also. In the initial stages of the inquiry, it was revealed that the motto behind the attack was not money but honour.

The youth was,in fact, working in place of his grandmother who was not keeping well for quite sometime. During the course of his work, he was reprimanded by the wife of the senior accountant for not doing his duties satisfactorily.

The youth was very upset over the humiliation and to avenge, he not only attacked the woman but also got himself injured.

Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Drunkard commits suicide

Hyderabad, August 24 (Siasat News): A man who was habitual drunkard, committed suicide by mixing pesticides with his drink. He was identified as B Karunakar, a carpenter.

This incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Balanagar police station. According to police sources, his wife had left him because of his drinking habits and living with her parents along with her children.

Karunakar was upset ever since. Yesterday, he took the extreme step and died during the treatment in the hospital.

Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Labour dies during demolition

Hyderabad, August 24 (Siasat News): A labour accidentally fell to his death during a demolition operation of GHMC.

This accident occurred in the jurisdiction of Chaderghat police station. According to police sources, 25-year-old Gangaram was busy in demolition work of the Akbar Tower in order to widen the road between Malakpet and Nalgonda chow Rasta.

He was the native of Medak district. During the work, he fell down suspiciously from the building and immediately shifted to OGH where he died during the treatment.

Crossing the railway tracks proved fatal

Hyderabad, August 24 (Siasat News): A 25-year-old man Gopi Krishna died on the spot when he was trying to cross the railway tracks between Bolarum and Alwal railway stations.

He was hit by a train. Secunderabad railway police has registered a case and started the investigations.
