Adulterated oil making unit raided
(Siasat News): The Pahadi Shareef police raided an adulterated edible oil making unit and seized 160 drums of edible oil and two trucks loaded with cow bones and skulls.

Police took one Taher into custody. The unit belongs to one Pappu Shetty, a resident of old city. Police said that adulterated edible oil was manufactured in the unit by using bones and skulls after boiling.

Acting on a tip-off police raided the unit and seized material worth Rs. 10 lakh.

One died in car mishap

(Siasat News): One man died and five others were hospitalized with injuries when their car rammed into another vehicle in Vanasthalipuram.

The deceased Chandrasekhar, 48 and his friends were going to their another friend’s house when the tragedy struck.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Minor found dead in sump

(Siasat News): A 2-year-old girl was found dead in an 8 ft deep sump at Kishanbagh in Bahadurpura police limits. The girl was playing the near the sump and went missing.

Later in the night, her parents found the body of their daughter floating in the sump and alerted the police.

A case has been registered and further investigations are in progress.

Illicit liquor sachets seized

(Siasat News): The Task force police arrested an autorickshaw driver at Prakashnagar cross roads in Begumpet for transporting illicitly-distilled (ID) liquor sachets.

The arrested is Narsingi, 25, of Attai Battai colony in Dhoolpet. He was transporting ID liquor through an agent Rajendra of Nallagutta to retailer Gopal of Balaji Nagar in Yapral and used to earn Rs. 400-500 on each trip.


Separation with wife and children led to suicide

(Siasat News): A man, who was very upset over the separation from his wife and children, took the extreme step of ending his life. This incident occurred in Osmania University police limits.

It is said that following the complaints of the neighbours, police broke open the door of the house of Naveen Reddy who decomposed body was found hanging from the ceiling.

In its preliminary investigations, police found a suicide note. The deceased Naveen was just 35-year-old and was the resident of Habsiguda. Police suspect that he might have committed suicide 2-3 days back. He was very upset as his wife and children were living separately from him since last two years.

Moreover, his business was also down and he was in financial crisis. Osmania University police said that these details are found from the suicide note of the deceased.

Further investigations are in progress.
