Rapist uncle arrested
(Siasat News): Kanchan Bagh police has arrested a man who had raped his distant niece. As per the details, the victim, 14-year-old was studying in a residential school in Nalgonda.

On February 20, her distant uncle N Babu, 25 who has completed his M.Sc, called the girl to his rented house situated in Champapet and confined her into his room for three days and repeatedly raped her.

However, the victim succeeded in freeing herself from the clutches of the Babu and informed her mother. She immediately lodged a complaint with Kanchan Bagh police and a case under Nirbhay act was registered.

The girl has been sent for medical check-up. Further investigations are on.

Aged woman injured in attack

(Siasat News): The unknown assailants in Chilkalguda entered an apartment and attacked an aged woman. It is said that Laxmi Narsimha, 72, has been living at a flat in Shanti Ram Apartment. She was alone in her flat in the morning hours.

When she was busy in pooja, some unknown persons entered the flat and attempted to murder her and fled the scene. However, the old lady alerted the watchman on intercom. The watchman immediately called the police.

The motive behind the attack is yet to be ascertained. Further investigations are in progress.

Two die in train accidents

(Siasat News): Two persons died in two different train accidents occurred in the city and outskirts. According to railway police Nampally, Sai Kumar, 20, a private employee and resident of L B Shastri Nagar, was crossing the railway tracks near Fateh Nagar railway station without realizing that a fast train approaching.

He was fatally hit. Railway police Kachiguda said that Sridhar, 18, resident of Falaknuma, was killed between Uppuguda and Falaknuma railway station when he was crossing the railway tracks.

Both the cases are registered and further investigations are underway.

Two commit suicide

(Siasat News): In a bizarre incident, two husbands who were fed up of their wives, committed suicide as they had a row with their wives before taking the extreme step.

According to Sanathnagar police, Vijay, 28, resident of Sanathnagar and a labour by profession had quarreled with his wife yesterday and after that had consumed pesticide. He was shifted to the hospital where he died during the treatment.

Musheerabd police said that the deceased Chakravorthy, 30, was the resident of Risalagadda, had disputes in his house and his wife who 7-month pregnant, had left him and had gone to her parent’s house.

Out of frustration, Chakravorthy took the extreme step of ending his life by hanging. Both the cases are registered and further investigations are in progress.
