Gang of temple thieves arrested
(Siasat News): Central crime Station (CCS) has arrested a three-member gang involved in temple theft especially in old city.

According to details, the cases of temple theft had become a permanent headache for the police since last one month as police remained clueless.

However, the officials of CCS has arrested a 3-member gang and handed it over to Task Force for further grilling. Sources said that the kingpin of the gang belonged to Kurnool and has been living in old city.

He, along with his two associates, involved in various thefts of gold ornaments from the temples. In the meantime, the Hindu communal forces always kept on trying to give these incidents a communal colour and claimed that there was a big conspiracy behind these incidents.

The gang disclosed that it was involved in the theft of gold ornaments in more than 18 temples and police is trying to recover the stolen items.

Sources said that the kingpin of the gang had shifted to L B Nagar in Cyberabad. Further investigations are still on.

Girl drowns in lake

(Siasat News): A 14-year-old Afreen drowned in Saroornagar lake. She fell into the water accidentally while on a day out.

According to police Afreen, a resident of Bhanunagar, Sayeedabad, had come with her younger brother Aslam and two other kids to the Priyadarshini Park on Friday morning.

As the park was closed, they decided to jump the fence. They managed to cross the fence but Afreen accidentally fell into the lake. The kids raised an alarm and later approached the patrol police.

However, Afreen died before the police could reach the spot. The body is still not fished out.
