Aged man held for fraud

(Siasat News): In a bizarre case an aged man who used to pose himself as the best acquaintance of the politicians and other influential people and promised to the people that he can handle any disputed case and sort the matter out.

This is how the 69-year-old Kuttam Naini Rajendra Prasad, had collected Rs. 15 lakhs from a man by making false promises that all his disputes would be settled saying that institutional promotion and the policy advisor of Telangana Government B V Papa Rao was his good friend.

Following the complaint of the victim police immediately came into action and arrested him. Further investigations are on.

Mission Chabutra in old city

(Siasat News): The police have once again started ‘Mission Chabutra’ in the old city. Police said that this mission would be conducted twice in a week enabling the young generation to refrain from getting wayward.

Dy. Commissioner police (South Zone) Mr. Satyanarayana said that keeping the examinations in mind, the Chabutra Mission is revived and it would be conducted twice in a week.

He further said that the examination schedule of X, Inter and PG is already announced, the aim of conducting Mission Chabutra is to provide peaceful environment to the young generation especially the student community.

He said that provision of peaceful environment is their priority. If the students would score well in their examinations, they would meet the goals of their life.

Due to the anti-social activities of a few spoiled brats, other intelligent students are also suffering.

He especially named The Siasat Daily for coming forward to conduct training classes for the betterment of the students.

During Mission Chabutra 153 youths including 5 minors were detained and allowed to go after the counseling. DCP South Zone also warned the owners of various function halls not to allow fireworks and playing of bands after 10.30 pm.
