Illegal sale of Gutkha, one arrested
(Siasat News): Task force police has arrested a man who was involved in illegal manufacturing of gutkha.
As per the details, Md. Ayub, 25, resident of Moghalpura. Was manufacturing the banned gutkha and circulating them with brand names of the product.
Police got a tip-off and arrested Mohd. Ayub and seized gutkha manufacturing machine and 2,40,000 gutkha sachets valued at Rs. 7 lakh from his possession.
He was later handed over to the officials of the food safety of GHMC.
Attempt to rob ATM machine foiled
(Siasat News): A man entered an ATM centre in a busy and posh area of Abids to steal the money but failed to do so.
As per the details, an unidentified thief entered the ATM center of South Indian Bank Ltd., situated at OSS Plaza, Tilak Road.
He tampered the CCTV cameras fixed there and try to steal the money from the machine but failed in his attempt.
Chief Manager of the bank Mr. Jeevandas has lodged a complaint with Abids police.
Later, the police observed the CCTV footage and released the photograph of the thief and appealed to the public to help police nab him.
Woman’s suspicious death
(Siasat News): A woman died in Amberpet in suspicious circumstances. As per the details, Lalitha, 50, was the wife of one Venkatesh, resident of Golnaka.
She had accidentally fallen in her house on July 19. She was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment but died last night.
Police Amberpet has registered a case of suspicious death and further investigations are on.
Teenager burnt to death
(Siasat News): A 14-year-old girl accidentally sustained burn injuries in Rein Bazar and died.
Police said that the deceased Sofiya was the daughter of one Syed Fasihullah of Wahed colony, Yakutpura. She had sustained severe burn injuries in her house during cooking yesterday.
She was shifted to the hospital where she died during the treatment. Police Rein Bazar has registered a case and further investigations are on.
