Friend’s wife gang raped

Hyderabad, June 23 (Siasat News): An incident of gang rape took place in the jurisdiction of Miyapur police station where a married woman was abducted by the miscreants and kept her in a room where they repeatedly raped her.

This incident though came in the limelight with a slight delay, created panic in Miyapur. Police Miyapur has started the investigations following the complaint of the husband of the victim.

According to the sources, 22-year-old Padma was residing with her husband Srinivas in Jagatgirigutta. They got married three years back and have a three-year-old son.

However, the husband and wife used to quarrel over some financial matters every now and then. On June 16, they had another fight over some petty matters and this time, Padma left the house with her son and could not be traced for a few days. Srinivas, in the meantime, worried about his wife’s missing, lodged a complaint with the police.

Srinivas had a close friend Sailu who used to interfere in Srinivas’ family matters and offered a compromise between Padma and Srinivas and asked Padma to visit his (Sailu’s) house. He misinformed her that Srinivas would also be coming to his (Sailu’s) house.

Padma believed him and reached his house. There the scene was totally changed. Sailu forced himself on Padma and raped her followed by his another four associates.

She was captivated in the house. Police Miyapur is looking for five accused and Padma is shifted to Gandhi Hospital.

Youth murdered at Kottapet

Hyderabad, June 23 (Siasat News): A youth was brutally murdered in a fruit market at Kottapet.

The murderers are at large. It is assumed that the old enmity might be the cause of the murder.

According to the details, 35-year-old Syed Mahmood who hailed from Tandupally village was working as a coolie at Kottpet market. His neck was first slit then a sword was pierced into his chest, which was extricated during the post mortem.

The incident came to light today between 5 and 6 am. Police Chaitanyapuri has registered a case and investigations are on. Syed Mahmood’s in-laws informed that he had three children and had a scuffle with a man named Srinu, a year back and facing the trials on attempted murder.

However, just 20 days back, Mahmood and Srinivas compromised and had buried their differences in the court. But Mahmood’s in-laws are suspecting that Srinu is allegedly behind the murder.
