Husband’s killer wife arrested with paramour
(Siasat News): Alwal police has arrested a woman involved in the murder of her husband with her paramour. It is said that last week a tipper driver Akola, 34, was murdered with a heavy boulder when he was fast asleep.
Police had investigated the case and arrested the woman along with her paramour. Police said that the deceased had come to know about the illicit relation of his wife with another man and there were arguments between the duo almost every day.
The woman however, wanted to eliminate her husband as he was the main thorn in the flesh. She had hatched a conspiracy with her paramour and killed her husband when he was fast asleep. Police had handed them over to judicial custody.
One dies in road accident
(Siasat News): In a ghastly road accident in Medchal, one person died and two persons including a minor were seriously injured.
Medchal police said that two vehicles collided at Outer ring Road that proved fatal for one Mohd. Ismail, 50 from Nizamabad and a minor girl was seriously injured whereas another man Venkatesh was also injured who was in another car.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Pharmacies attached to corporate hospitals raided
(Siasat News): The special teams of Telangana Drug Control Administration conducted surprise raids to eleven pharmacies attached to the corporate hospitals and took stern action for violations of drug control laws.
In the meantime, director drugs control Dr. Akkan Sabharwal said the team was comprised of one assistant director and three drug inspectors.
The raids were conducted at Mediciti Hospital, Shamirpet, Continental Hospital, Gachibowli, Medwin Hospital, Nampally, Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad, Kamineni Hospital, L B Nagar, Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Global Hospital, Lakdikapul, Star Hospital, Banjara Hills and Sunshine Hospital Secunderabad and the attached pharmacies were thoroughly checked and it was revealed that the medicine was sold in excess of MRP and expired drugs were also sold.
These pharmacies were found violating the Drugs Act, 1940. Legal action was taken against 6 hospitals whereas unlicensed two pharmacies were sealed.
The team has decided to continue the raids to other pharmacies so as to prevent the irregularities.
