Man held for alleged rape
(Siasat News): Falaknuma police has arrested a 30-year-old man for allegedly raping a girl and handed him over to judicial custody.
The accused Mohd. Shareef, a labour, was residing at Nawabsaab Kunta. He had allegedly raped a girl by entering the house in his neighbourhood on April 19.
Following the complaint of the girl, the police came into action and handed him over to judicial custody. Further investigations are in progress.
Youth drown in pond
(Siasat News): A youth drowned in a pond during swimming at Chuderguda in Shamshabad. As per the details, Mohd. Younus, 27, resident of Ahmednagar, Shamshabad, had gone to Chuderguda along with his friends and during the swimming, drowned in the pond.
His other friends tried to locate him in the pond. When they failed to do so, they all came out from the pond and informed the police. With expert divers, the police team successfully fished out the dead body of Younus.
The dead body was handed over to the relatives after post mortem. Shamshabad inspector Anjiah has registered a case.
Wife killed by unemployed husband
(Siasat News): An unemployed husband brutally killed his wife. This incident occurred at Indira Nagar colony in North Lalaguda police station limits where Nusrath Begum, 35, who had sustained severe injuries as she was attacked by her husband Abdul Raheem alias Balraj and died during the treatment.
Both of them got married seven years back. It was their love marriage and they have a son. Abdul Raheem was unemployed and had developed the bad habit of drinking. He was not doing any work since months.
This caused scuffle between husband and wife. In the meantime, Nusrath started living separately. On April 3, Nusrath was going to Lalaguda from Nampally along with her relative when Abdul Raheem stopped her on the way and attacked her on her head, severely injuring her.
Nusrath died in the hospital during the treatment. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
