Another dowry death
Hyderabad, December 23 (Siasat News): A man with the help of his sister and brother-in-law allegedly torched his wife alive, as she could not fulfill the demand of more dowry.
This heinous crime was committed in Champapet. According to the details, 25-year-old Padma was married to one Kishan five years back.
However, Kishan started harassing his wife for more dowry of late. He used to insist upon her to force her parents to pay.
As the matter was getting delayed, Kishan again harassed his wife and this time, with the help of his sister Saroja and brother-in-law Pratap.
Yesterday, the trio took the extreme step and poured kerosene on Padma and set her ablaze. She died in the hospital during the treatment.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
