Police constable committed suicide

Hyderabad, January 23 (Siasat News): A police constable related with Chaderghat police station, committed suicide in his quarter.

22-year-old Bhasker, resident of Goshamahal police quarters, hanged himself. Police sources said that he used to drink occasionally.

The cause of the suicide is yet to be ascertained. Police Shahinayathgunj has registered a case.

Two incidents of chain snatching

Hyderabad, January 23 (Siasat News): The incidents of chain snatching are still taking place in the city despite police vigil.

In the first incident, a woman Chandrika Prasad lost her gold chain when she had reached Sayeedabad from Afzalgunj by a seven seater.

While going to her house, two motorcycle borne robbers snatched her 3 tolas gold chain and fled. Sayeedabad police has registered a case.

In the second incident, the robbers targeted another housewife Indira, resident of Gandhinagar, when she was returning home along with her mother-in-law.

Robbers made their escape good with three and half tola gold chain. Musheerabad police has registered a case.

Man tries to loot ATM at Moghalpura

Hyderabad, January 23 (Siasat News): A youth made a vain bid to loot an SBH ATM at Moghalpura in broad daylight but couldn’t take any money from the machine.

Following a complaint by the bank officials, the Moghalpura police registered a case and started investigation.

According to Moghalpura inspector Syed Fayyaz, a 25-year-old man tried to open the cash box but did not succeed.

However, his image was captured by the CC camera and likely to be apprehended soon.
