Two arrested at airport with gutkha and clothes
(Siasat News): custom officials at RGI airport arrested two persons with RMD gutkha and clothes in their possession.
According to the details, the two passengers Abdul Khaddar and Salim Abdullah, natives of Kerala, reached RGI. When custom officials checked their bags, they found sachets of gutkha worth Rs. 50,000 and the clothes used for making burqas and dupattas also worth Rs. 50,000.
They were detained at the airport as the gutkha is a banned item. A case has been registered and they were shifted over to Hyderabad custom office.
Domestic help raped
(Siasat News): a young girl was raped at Tondpally, a village in Shamshabad. As per the details, the victim Rajni, 20, was the resident of Bahadur Ali Makta, was a domestic help and was leading a distressed life along with her family members.
On November 17, she was going home after finishing her day’s work. On the way two motorcycle borne youths Suresh, 22 and Venkatesh, 23 approached her and offered her a lift.
They took her to TPR Venture in Tondpally and raped her. After committing the crime, they dropped the girl at Shamshabad.
Following the complaint of Rajni, Shamshabad RGI inspector Durga Prasad arrested the duo and sent them on remand while the vehicle was seized.
Car driver fled with big amount, arrested
(Siasat News): Chaderght police has arrested a car driver along with his associate who had duped their employer and had fled with Rs. 21,00,000 in cash.
Deputy commissioner east zone Mr. Shahnawaz Qasim said that S Narsimha, 27, resident of Green Hills colony, Saroornagar, has been working as a driver of a trader.
On November 19, the trader handed him over a brief case containing the money and asked him to keep it in the car. As the trader about to board the car, Narsimha, in the meantime, fled the scene in an omni car with the booty said to be around Rs. 21,53,000.
Narsimha had sought the help of his friend to commit the crime. The trader Mr. Gupta lodged a complaint with Chaderghat police. A special team was formed to trace Narsimha.
However, the police traced the duo with the help of mobile phone tower location and recovered Rs. 21,00,000 from their possession.
