Sub-inspector dies in road accident

Hyderabad, November 23 (Siasat News): A sub-inspector belonged to the special team of the cyber crime investigations, is one of the deceased who died in two different road accidents.

As per the details, sub-inspector V C Baiju who along with his assistant constables, was going from Pasmamla village to Hayathnagar in a car.

The car was running in full speed and turtle all of a sudden, killing V c Baiju on the spot whereas his other companions were severely injured and admitted to the hospital.

In the second incident, 35-year-old Sampat Kumar died when his motorbike was severely hit by a water tanker near Yadgiripalli. Sampat Kumar also died on the spot.

Police has registered the cases of negligence driving and further investigations are on.

Fake antique sellers arrested

Hyderabad, November 23 (Siasat News): Central zone team of commissioner task force has arrested two conmen including an ex-serviceman who was involved in selling fake antiques.

Police said that B Venkatramanna Prasad, 42, resident of Alwal, along with his associate Khuzima Hebtullah Badri, who hailed from Surat, Gujarat, trying to sell the fake antiques with the help of one Aslam of Balanagar.

They used to claim that whatever antique pieces they had, they were worth of lakhs of rupees and this is how they used to convince the people.

In the past they had dodged a customer by selling a fake antique saying that it belonged to ancient period. The customer’s name was Tahir Ali. When he opened the box, it contained a brass bowl worth just Rs. 500.

Taher Ali had informed the police immediately and the police was in look out for the culprits ever since.

Today, the central zone team was successful in tracing the real culprits and seized the fake antiques from their possession. Later, they were handed over to Ramgopalpet police.
