Notorious thief arrested

(Siasat News): Panjagutta police has arrested a notorious thief who used to divert the attention of his victims and committed the crimes.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, west zone Mr. Venkateshwar Rao said that the accused Riyaz Ahmad, 32 alias Mohd. Yahya and Hassan, native of Delhi, has been working as a production manager.

He had a queer habit of befriending with homosexuals through social networking websites. Later, he visited them at their residences and ask them to drink mixed with intoxicating stuff.

This is how he used to make them unconscious and looted the costly and precious items of the house. He had committed similar crimes in Panjagutta, Gachibowli, Jawahar Nagar and Naredmet.

Police has recovered the stolen gold ornaments and a laptop from his possession valued at Rs. 3 lakh.

5-member gang busted

(Siasat News): The crime staff of Panajagutta police has busted a gang of five minor members involved in thefts and recovered the stolen goods valued at Rs. 15 lakh from their possession.

It is said that the SSC and Inter students were the part of the 5-memebr gang. The modus operandi of the gang was that they used to specify certain houses located in the posh areas in the day time and used to commit the crime in the night hours.

They used to break open the glasses of the windows to gain entry and with the help of the keys of the almirahs made their escape good with costly items such as iphone, laptop and gold ornaments.

When police interrogated the minor gang members, it was disclosed that had committed as many as six crimes so far. Further investigations are on.

Woman dies in train accident

(Siasat News): A woman who had come to Necklace Road to spend some quality time didn’t know that it was her last day in this mortal world.

According to railway police Nampally, the deceased Shobha, 45, wife of one David of Balanagar, had come to the place of tourist interest.

However, when she was trying to cross the railway tracks near the station, she was hit by a train that proved fatal.

Railway police Nampally has registered a case and further investigations are underway.

Assistant film director ends life

(Siasat News): An assistant film director who was very upset for quite some time due to lack of work, committed suicide.

It is said that the Vikram, 32, resident of Moosapet, has been working as an assistant film director in a film unit. However, he was very upset as he was no longer getting any work that had put him under mental pressure.

When he realized that he would not get any work and the opportunities were slipping, he jumped down from the second floor of the building.

Police Kukatpally has registered a case and further investigations are in progress.
