Failed love affair led to suicide
(Siasat News): A private teacher took the extreme step of ending her life as she was failed in her love affair.
According to Gachibowli police 25-year-old G Karuniya, resident of Raja Rajeshwari Colony, was in love with a man called Sunil.
However, she was shocked when she learnt that Sunil was no longer interested in marrying her. A dejected Karuniya hanged herself to death at her residence.
Gachibowli police has registered a case against Sunil of inciting the victim to take the extreme step.
Man commits suicide after row with wife
(Siasat News): A painter Syed Hussain, 22, committed suicide after a row with his wife at Hafiz Baba Nagar. The deceased was a wall painter.
Yesterday, he had exchanged heated argument with his wife over a petty matter but he took it seriously. Later, he poured kerosene on his body and set himself ablaze.
Though he was immediately taken to Osmania Hospital but he succumbed to his burn injuries. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Minor drowns in pond
(Siasat News): The game of cricket proved fatal for a minor boy. 13-year-old Bablunath, resident of KPHB, was playing cricket near his house.
During the play, another player hit a huge shot and the ball fell into Nallacheru talaab.
Bablunath, in trying to the chase the ball, fell into the pond and drowned.
Other children/players immediately informed the police and the dead body was fished out from the pond.
A case of accidental death is registered and further investigations are on.
Two die in road accidents
(Siasat News): Two persons died in two different road accidents occurred in the city.
According to Sultan Bazar police, one Abhijeet Lohana, 19, who had recently passed his intermediate exams, was passing from the Big Bazar Mall near Sultan Bazar on his Activa when he was severely hit by an RTC bus killing him on the spot.
Police has shifted his dead body to Osmania Hospital mortuary and a case has been registered against the RTC driver.
According to Golconda police, one P Venkatesh, 56, a mason by profession, was passing from Vinobha Nagar in Sheikhpet when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.
He had sustained severe injuries and died in the hospital during the treatment. Police Golconda has registered a case against the vehicle driver.
