Notorious thief arrested
(Siasat News): Chikadpally police has arrested a notorious thief who was active in the locality for quite some time and was involved in many thefts. Police seized the stolen gold ornaments from his possession.
It is said that the accused Abdul Hameed, 25, was an AC mechanic by profession who used to commit the crimes with the help of his accomplice Mujeeb Ahmed and was involved in many thefts in Chikadpally that falls in the jurisdiction of Banjara Hills police.
Man arrested for ‘Shaadi Mubarak Scheme’ fraud
(Siasat News): The officials of ACB with the co-operation of Charminar police arrested a Me-Seva in-charge involved in frauds in connection with Shaadi Mubarak Scheme.
As per the details, one Mohd. Zahid Ali, resident of Kishan Bagh, has been running a me-seva centre for quite some time.
However, after the introduction of Government’s new scheme, it seems that the ‘achhe din’ of the accused had returned. His modus operandi was that after the submission of applications online, he used to demand the ATM cards of the applicants and this is how he used to misappropriate the money released in the name of the scehme without letting know the applicants about it.
The ACB officials along with Mr. Ashok Chakravorty, assistant police commissioner, Charminar, arrested the accused Mohd. Zahid Ali and recovered the documents and other articles which are to be used to submit them online in connection with Shaadi Mubarak Scheme from his possession.
