Two held for murder
(Siasat News): Five days after the brutal murder of an auto driver at Kalepatthar, two persons were arrested in connection with the crime.
Police said that the accused Mohd. Ashfaq, 27, a rowdy sheeter, and his brother Mohd. Imran, 22, killed the victim due to animosity. The victim Mohd. Nisar, 31, was stabbed to death in presence of his brother Mohd. Owais.
Three picked up for fraud
(Siasat News): Three persons including a lecturer and an employee of Apollo Hospital, were arrested by the Commissioner’s Task Force, East Zone for claiming fraudulent health insurances.
They have earned around Rs. 1 crore through medical claims from 2009 till date, police said. They used to dupe corporate hospitals across AP and Karnataka by claiming insurance against fictitious names and addresses.
