Another dowry death

(Siasat News): A 6-month-old bride committed suicide, as her family was not in a position to fulfill the demand of more dowry from her in-laws.

This incident occurred in Saroornagar police station limits where Rekha, 25, hanged herself in her house. She was married to one Bal Reddy in December 2011, resident of Ambedkar Nagar.

However, since last two months Bal Reddy was harassing Rekha for more dowry. Just two days back, he had asked Rekha to bring Rs. 20,000 from her parents.

When she could not tolerate the harassment, she took the extreme step.

Trader ends life

(Siasat News): The argument between two traders led to the suicide of another trader. This incident occurred in Jeedimetla police station limits.

According to police, Nageshwar Rao, 43, resident of Jeedimetla, took the extreme step as another trader Sambha Reddy had threatened him for dire consequences as Nageshwar Rao had borrowed Rs. 2 lakhs from Sambha Reddy but did not repay the same on time.

This delay was the cause of arguments between the duo earlier. Police has registered the case and further investigations are on.

Fake number plate, 3 held

(Siasat News): Police Langar Houz has arrested three persons as they had displayed a fake number plate on their car.

During the interrogation, all three of them confessed their crime. Later they were handed over to judicial custody.

According to police, Akhtar Khan, Rahmath and Mustafa were detained during search drive and after inspecting their documents, police arrested them.

It is said that the team of sub-inspector crime Gopal, had arrested all three of them on suspicion and were brought to the police station.

They were grilled there and all of them confessed that they had committed four theft crimes earlier.

Police also seized Rs. 2 lakh cash from their possession and handed them over to judicial custody.
