Man attempted suicide
(Siasat News): A man, who was very upset over his domestic disputes, had attempted suicide in his office. Kachiguda police said that Krishna Murthy, 53, resident of Barkatpura, had consumed pesticide on April 19.
He was immediately rushed to a hospital where he died last night during the treatment. Police has registered a case and trying to ascertain the circumstances that led him to take the extreme step.
Girl student ends life
(Siasat News): A girl student hanged herself to death in Jubilee Hills. The deceased Mohna Kumari, 21, resident of Jawahar Nagar, Yusufguda, was not keeping well since last four years.
She and her family members were very upset over her deteriorating health. Yesterday she took the extreme step of ending her life and hanged herself to death. Police has registered a case.
Two passengers held at airport, gold seized
(Siasat News): The custom officials arrested two passengers including a woman when they arrived from different destinations to RGI airport.
In the first case, the officials found 500 grams gold in possession of a woman passenger for which she did not give any satisfactory reply. The woman passenger belonged to Hyderabad.
In the second incident, a passenger who arrived at RGI and the native of Kerala was held when his luggage was checked and 350 grams of gold was found in it.
Black-marketing of ration rice, 151 quintal seized
(Siasat News): Department of Civil Supplies and Commissioner Task Force had conducted a joint action against the black marketing of ration rice and several bags containing ration rice were seized in Bhavani Nagar and Chandrayangutta.
Police is in search of one Shahnawaz who was involved in black marketing of ration rice. The modus operandi of the accused was that they used to buy ration rice from the bonafide card holders and used to sell them in open market in double the price.
Task Force had handed over the sized ration rice to department of civil supplies.
