Woman burnt alive by in-laws
(Siasat News): a woman was burnt alive by her in-laws in Santosh Nagar. According to police sources, Lavanya, 26, was the wife of one Ravinder, resident of R N Colony, Rakshapuram, was burnt alive on the night of November 19 by her in-laws when she was fast asleep with her husband.
Police sources further said that before committing the crime, the in-laws had switched off the light of Lavanya’s room.
She was shifted to the hospital with severe burn injuries where she died during the treatment last night. A case has been registered.
Autodriver dies by doctors’ negligence
(Siasat News): An auto driver died by alleged negligence of the doctors in Medchal. Police has registered a case of negligence against the doctors for the death of Veerayya, 40.
According to police, the deceased was admitted to the hospital following the ill health. He was the resident of Shameerpet.
However, he was later shifted to Osmania Hospital, then to some other hospital and finally to Gandhi Hospital where he died during the treatment.
It clearly shows the callousness of the doctors of all hospitals who did not show any interest in treating a poor auto driver.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Labour dies during dismantling
(Siasat News): A labourer died in Amberpet during the dismantling of a wall. According to police sources, the deceased K Yadiah, 55, was the resident of Patel Nagar, Amberpet.
Yesterday, he had gone for the work of dismantling of an old wall along with his friend Ramesh. However, during the dismantling process, he a portion of the wall collapsed injuring him severely.
He was shifted to the hospital where he died during the treatment. Police has registered a case.
Police officer’s suspicious death
(Siasat News): A special police officer died in suspicious circumstances in Saifabad. 49-year-old Viveshwar Rao was the resident of ESIL and by his death, police is blamed that due to the non-existence of facilities in police quarters, this type of incidents (suspicious deaths) are occurring.
The deceased belonged to City Security Wing and performing his duty at MLA qrtrs outpost. Last night, after performing his duty, Rao went to sleep.
At midnight one of his colleagues R K Reddy entered the room and found that Rio had collapsed from the cot and was injured.
He was lying unconscious. The higher authorities were immediately informed and Rio was shifted to the hospital where he died during the treatment.
Inspector Saifabad Mr. Umender said that a case under 174 crPC has been registered and investigations are on.
