Another dowry death
(Siasat News): The demand for more dowry from the husband led wife to commit suicide. This incident occurred at Doma in R R district where Pedamma, 18, took the extreme step on October 18.

She was the wife of one Venkataiah. The duo got married 12 years ago. However, Venkataiah kept on demanding more dowry from his wife.

When she could not tolerate the harassment of her husband, took the extreme step of ending her life. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Fear of leakage of illicit relations led to suicide

(Siasat News): A woman who had illicit relations with a man, threatened him that she would reveal the illicit relations between him and her that led the man to commit suicide.

The deceased Narsimha, 38, took consumed pesticide on October 18 where he died last night during the treatment. This incident occurred in Shahpur police station limits. The deceased was a farmer and had developed illicit relations with one Amrita of the same locality.

However, just 15 days back, he had borrowed the silver chain of Amrita and sold it to meet his expenses as he was in financial crunch. After some time, Amrita demanded her silver chain back and wanted either chain or its price but Narsimha did not pay any heed.

In the meantime, Amrita reached to Narsimha’s house and threatened that she would reveal the illicit relations if he failed to give her the silver chain. She had already revealed this to the family members of Narsimha and threatened that the entire locality would come to know about it.

Narsimha was very upset and ended his life. Police has registered a case and further investigations are underway.

Cash stolen from the house

(Siasat News): An incident of theft took place in a house at Pardiwada in Hussaini Alam where Rs. 5 lakh was stolen. The house belonged to one Premchand.

Hussaini Alam police was immediately informed and a team reached the spot. Premachand in his statement given to the police said that he was busy getting his house painted ahead of Diwali.

He suspects that the painter might have involved in the theft. Hussaini Alam police has registered a case and further investigations are in progress.
