Gambling den raided
(Siasat News): The west zone team of commissioner task force has raided a house at Rahimpura being run as a gambling den and arrested 10 persons from there.
As per the details, one Anand Singh had given his house on ‘rent’ to run the gambling den and was getting a hefty sum as commission.
When the task force came to know about it, the house was raided and 10 persons were arrested and Rs. 76,000 in cash and 12 mobile phones were seized from their possession. All the arrested persons were later handed over to Mangalhat police station.
Termination of job led to suicide
(Siasat News): A man who was very upset on being terminated from his job and took the extreme step of ending his life.
This incident occurred in Jeedimetla police station limits where one Anthony Patrick, 20, resident of Makhdoom Nagar, has been working in a call center. Last week, he was asked to quit the job that had made him gloomy and disappointed.
He hanged himself to death last night. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Woman dies in train accident
(Siasat News): A woman hit by a train while crossing the railway tracks at Lingampally, died instantly.
According to railway police Nampally, the deceased Bhagyalaxmi, 35, was crossing the railway tracks near Lingampally railway station last night without realizing that a fast train approaching her.
She was hit by the train and got killed. Railway police is further investigating.
Two minors drowned
(Siasat News): In a tragic incident, two minors drowned in a talaab at Maheshwaram in Cyberabad limits. According to police, Vamshi, 9 and his friend Gyaneshwar, 7, both studying in the same school.
As both of them had a holiday, they were cycling and passed from Pochamma talaab. However, they drowned in talaab in suspicious circumstances. Though their dead bodies are fished out but police is still confused that how did they meet with the accident?
A case has been registered and further investigations are in progress.
