Unclaimed bag creates panic

Hyderabad, May 22 (Siasat News): An unclaimed bag at Bahadurpura created panic for some time. It was found near a mosque and a private bank.

As the people are already curious about the on going search operations, this bag created sensation.

Later it was found harmless as inspector Bahadurpura searched it thoroughly.

He said that someone might have purchased a new bag and had thrown the old one.

Husband set wife ablaze

Hyderabad, May 22 (Siasat News): A man, who was suspicious of his wife’s fidelity, ultimately set her ablaze at Tokuguda, Maheshwaram.

According to Pahadi Shareef police, Mallesh, resident of Tokuguda, poured kerosene on his wife Kavitha on May 14. Both husband and wife hail from Mehboobnagar.

Mallesh has been handed over to the judicial custody. Sources said that Mallesh was suspicious of his wife’s character and used to harass her on this issue.

Police has registered a case.

2 of inter-state robbery gang nabbed

Hyderabad, May 22 (Siasat News): The task force team of north zone nabbed two members of an inter-state four-wheeler robbery gang and seized one Innova, one Maruti Zen and one Hero Honda motorbike from them.

The gang used to book luxurious cars from travel agencies for long distances and stop midway for drinks, to offer it to the driver with sedatives mixed in it.

After intoxication, they used to beat the drivers mercilessly, tie them and throw them in the nearby bushes.

Passenger beaten by custom officials

Hyderabad, May 22 (Siasat News): custom officials allegedly beat a passenger at Rajiv Gandhi International airport at Shamshabad.

According to the RGI police, one Naini Ranga Reddy, native of Karimnagar, arrived at RGI from Dubai.

During the custom checking, the officers demanded to produce the receipt of LCD screen, which he produced immediately.

Later, the officials demanded from him which he refused saying that he was an ordinary labour in Dubai and carrying no money.

This declaration annoyed the custom officials and they took him to the nearby washroom and beat him.

Naini Reddy later lodged a complaint against the custom officials with RGI police.
