Man brutally murdered
(Siasat News): The unknown assailants brutally murdered a man in Hayathnagar. It is said that the deceased Y Laxmi, 25, was the resident of Hayathnagar and was a building material supplier.
Yesterday, he was busy in a venture where some unidentified persons came there and severely assaulted him. Y Laxmi was seriously injured but the assailants did not spare him and crushed his head with a heavy boulder.
Hayathnagar police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Water Board employee drowns in drainage
(Siasat News): In a bizarre incident, an employee of the Water Board drowned in drainage line in Champapet.
It is said that the deceased Srinivas, 40, was an employee of Water Board and has been living at Harijan Basthi in Madannapet.
During the cleaning work, he drowned in drainage line. Saeedabad police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Man arrested for possessing illegal weapons
(Siasat News): The Central Zone Team of Commissioner Task Force has arrested a man from UP for possessing illegal weapons and recovered two country made revolvers.
It is said that Devender Dev Panday, 45, resident of Padmarao Nagar, Secunderabad and native of Lucknow, had shifted to Hyderabad some 15 years ago.
He was working as a manager in Vishwamitra India Parivar. Police said that Devender had some land dispute with some his relatives in UP and his life was threatened.
For his own protection, he had purchased two country made revolvers from an unknown person in Lucknow by paying Rs. 14000. Task force has handed him over to Chilkalguda police.
TV star cheated by lover
(Siasat News): A Telugu TV artist approached S R Nagar police and lodged a complaint against her beau that he had cheated her after promising to marry her.
Police said that the complainant Anushree had been in a relationship with Arjun for over four years. Arjun had promised to marry her and the couple was living together in the city.
However, upon learning that Arjun was getting married to another woman, Anu approached the police and lodged the complaint.
Further investigations are in progress.
