Woman killed in revenge
Hyderabad, January 2 (Siasat News): A 40-year-old woman was stabbed to death by a person bearing a grudge against her family, at Amberpet’s Raghunathnagar on Sunday morning.
Amberpet police said that Padma died after she was attacked by Santosh, resident of the same locality, at her residence.
According to police, Santosh’s sister Shashirekha had committed suicide several months back after one of Padma’s family members, allegedly let her down in love.
Since then, Santosh had been reportedly bearing a grudge against Padma’s family members.
On Sunday morning, he came to her house and attacked her with a sharp weapon. Further investigations are on.
Husband kills wife in Saeedabad
Hyderabad, January 2 (Siasat News): In Saeedabad’s singareni colony, there lives a couple and the wife had converted to Hinduism from her previous Muslim faith.
But the change of religion proved fatal for Nikhat alias Imtiazunnisa alias Radhika, 28, as her husband strangulated her to death. Nikhat had married one Naveen, a non-Muslim and resident of Aghapura.
However, very soon she realized that Naveen was harassing her in one or the other way. Though she was strangulated to death but police has registered a case of suspicious death under section 174 of IPC.
The deceased had lodged a complaint against her husband in 2009 with Habib Nagar police. It was also disclosed that Naveen was involved in some other criminal matters in the past.
Inspector Saeedabad N Yadiah said that police is further investigating this case whereas the parents of the deceased alleged that Naveen had killed their daughter.
