Fraudulent Baba arrested
(Siasat News): Kukatpally police has arrested a fraudulent ‘Baba’ who used to dupe people by saying that he would double the money by offering special pooja.
Police has recovered Rs. 19 lakh cash from his possession whose name was disclosed as Shiva Shankar, 28. He had developed friendship with a man and later came to his house and said that could double the money by special pooja.
He then double the amount of Rs. 1000 into 2000 by some tricks and won the confidence of the said person. He again played his card and asked the same persons to bring big amount to get it doubled.
This is how he managed to bring a big amount of Rs. 20,00,000. He then, asked the person to eat prasad, which was contaminated with drugs.
The said persons went unconscious and the baba Shiva Shankar escaped with the money. However, police soon arrested him from Bangalore and recovered the money.
Woman ends life
(Siasat News): A 30-year-old woman committed suicide at Alwal. The deceased Nagamnai had consumed pesticides on December 17.
She was rushed to the hospital where she died last night during the treatment. According to police, the deceased was mentally imbalanced and used to be in a state of shock and thought. A case has been registered.
Minor electrocuted to death
(Siasat News): A one and half year old girl was electrocuted to death in Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police station limits.
As per the details, the deceased K Meghna, resident of Srinivasa colony, S R Nagar, was the daughter of one Sanjeev Kumar.
Today, during the play, she reached near the water motor and accidentally came into contact with the live wire and was severely affected.
She was admitted to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
