Lorry loaded with clothes looted, 5 arrested
(Siasat News): Bahadurpura police has arrested 5 persons including two lorry drivers in connection with looting a lorry loaded with clothes.
Joint commissioner of police Mr. M Shivaprasad said in a press conference that on the night of January 11, lorry driver Syed Ghouse, resident of Chandraynagutta, along with his four friends lloted a lorry loaded with clothes near Miralam Tank in Bahadurpura.
Not only this, they also tied the hands of the driver and cleaner of the lorry and thrown them near Sri Sailam Road. The accused after looting the lorry, distributed the booty among themselves near Balapur talaab.
Mr. Prasad further said that the police has recovered looted clothes worth Rs. 28,50,000 from their possession. Further investigations are on.
Marriage proposal led to suicide
(Siasat News): A girl who was very upset over the marriage fixing by her parents, committed suicide as she didn’t want to get married.
This incident occurred in Chilkalguda police station limits where Jyothi, 18, daughter of one Narasiah of seetafalmandi, took the extreme step.
Her parents wanted to get her married but she was not interested. This topic had become the hot subject of quarrel in the house. Her parents were taking keen interest for her marriage.
Jyothi, when realized that she would not be spared by parents, hanged herself to death.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Man dies in suspicious circumstances
(Siasat News): A 30-year-old man died in Kundkoor in suspicious circumstances who was mysteriously missing since last five days.
As per the details, the deceased R Puroshottam Ram, had kept his motorbike near the bowli of his farm on January 15 and informed his brother that he was very upset and ever since went missing.
However, on January 17, the missing complaint was lodged with the police and on the same night, his dead body was found hanging from a tree.
Police Kundkoor has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Woman electrocuted to death
A woman electrocuted to death in Malakpet. It is said that the deceased Jyothi, 35, was a labour and was the wife of one Balram of Asmangadh.
Yesterday, she had gone to the terrace of her house to pick up the dried clothes hanged on a wire but accidentally came into contact with a live electric wire and fell down from the terrace.
She was immediately shifted to the hospital where she died during the treatment. Police is further investigating.
