Man arrested for harassing school principal

(Siasat News): Police has arrested a man for constantly harassing a school principal. Police Jeedimetla has arrested one Ravinder Chary who had a criminal record.

Earlier, police had warned him against his anti-social activities and released on bail. Despite this, Chary did not mend his ways and continued to harass lady principal Lavanya Goud.

Ultimately, she lodged the complaint with the police. The accused and the victim both are the residents of Qutubullahpur.

Chary was once again arrested and handed over to judicial custody.

Tyre godown gutted in Bahadurpura

(Siasat News): A tyre godown was completely gutted in a massive fire at Bahadurpura. This incident sent shock waves in the locality and the traffic flow was also affected.

In the meantime, Kamatipura police has called three fire brigades and the fire was extinguished after two hour struggle.

It is said that Ashok Tyre Company was gutted in the fire due to the short circuit. The damage is estimated to Rs. 5 lakh.

Police Kamatipura has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Police raided lodge for gambling

(Siasat News): The West Zone Team of Commissioner Task Force has raided a lodge and arrested 12 persons involved in gambling and seized Rs. 1 lakh from their possession.

It is said that 27-year-old P Arun Kumar, resident of Asifnagar, has been running a gambling den at Polo Service Apartment’s room No. 106 on commission basis which is being used as lodge also.

On a tip-off police had conducted the raid. Apart from the cash police also seized 13 cellphones. Later, the arrested persons were handed over Panjagutta police.
