Girl raped by neighbour
Hyderabad, August 20 (Siasat News): A physically challenged girl was raped by her neighbour in NTR Nagar, according to her parents.
They told the L B Nagar police that one Johar had lured their daughter, a class X student, and raped her when she came home from her residential school on August 14.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Auto mechanic jailed
Hyderabad, August 20 (Siasat News): A Nampally court on Friday awarded five-year jail term to Gajjala Baba, 25, an auto mechanic, for outraging the modesty of a woman.
First additional metropolitan sessions judge G Laxmipathi convicted Baba. Baba was arrested for harassing a 21-year-old woman who was alone in her house last year.
Missing man found dead
Hyderabad, August 20 (Siasat News): The body of a 23-year-old N Ramakrishna, who went missing from his home on Friday, was found in the bushes in Medchal.
The incident came to light when locals informed Petbasheerabad police of an unidentified body they found in the bushes.
Police said that after murdering Ramu, the accused set his body afire.
Police suspect that people close to the victim might have been involved in the murder.
