Woman’s dead body found in lodge
(Siasat News): Banjara Hills police has recovered the dead body of a woman from a lodge. She had checked in with a man two days ago and staying in room No. 401.
Police conducted a check of her belongings and later, the deceased was identified as Naga Rani, 25 who had come to the lodge with a man whose name was Sunil.
According to reliable sources, Sunil had committed suicide in Vijyawada yesterday. ACP Banjara Hills reached the spot and in preliminary investigations, it was disclosed that Naga Rani was strangulated to death. She hailed from Chennai.
When the lodge management realized that a putrid odour emitting from the room, they informed the police.
Though police has identified the deceased but it has yet to ascertain the motive behind both of them coming to the city, staying in a lodge, suicide of Sunil and murder of Naga Rani. Further investigations are on.
Cement bag kills one
(Siasat News): In a bizarre incident a labourer was hit by a heavy cement bag and died in Raidurgam.
According to police sources, Dev Babu, 40, resident of Manikonda, was working in an under construction building. On the day of the mishap, he was carrying the cement bag on his shoulder and climbing the staircase of the building.
However, during the climb, he lost his balance and the cement bag turned on his head, badly injuring him. He was immediately shifted to the hospital where he died during the treatment.
Further investigations are in progress.
Man brutally murdered in Langar Houz
(Siasat News): A man was brutally murdered in broad day light in Langar Houz. The unknown assailants reached on a motorbike and attacked Lingam Yadav, 31, a goat trader, with lethal weapons.
According to reliable sources, the deceased was the resident of Karwan and was allegedly involved in some murder cases earlier but he had no rowdy sheet against him.
He had come to the spot of his business as usual and was busy unloading the animals from a lorry. Just then, the assailants strike. One of them got hold of Lingam and other two killed him with weapons.
Some of Lingam’s supporters tried to rescue himbu8t they also got injured. Inspector Langar Houz Mr. Ratnam said that the police have launched a manhunt for the killers and they will be soon arrested.
He suspects that old enmity might be the motive behind the killing as the killers wanted to settle some old score.
Girl ends life as lover duped her
(Siasat News): A girl committed suicide in Jeedimetla as she was very upset over the refusal of her lover to marry her. Resident of Jagatgirigutta, B Ashwini, 20, took the extreme step by hanging.
Police said that she was in love with her cousin Kranthi. On June 17, Kranthi talked to her on phone and refused to marry her.
This refusal became the cause of depression for the deceased and she ultimately ended her life. Police is further investigating.
