Youth drowns during swimming
(Siasat News): A youth drowned in Himayath Sagar during swimming. Though his friends tried to save him but all their efforts went in vain.
According to Rajendranagar police, the deceased Md. Irfan, 20, was the son of one Mohd. Moosa of Asifnagar, Mehdipatnam. Yesterday, Irfan along with his friends went to Himayath Sagar for swimming.
However, during the swimming he drowned. His friends tried to save his life and somehow brought him out of the water and carried him to a hospital where he died.
Rajendranagar police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Son torches father to death
(Siasat News): A son who was very eager to own a cell phone and asked his father to buy him one, but after the denial from his father, he set his own father ablaze.
This incident occurred in Chandrayangutta police station limits where the 19-year-old son killed his 45-year-old father. According to police, the deceased Narsimlu was a labourer and was the resident of Indira Colony, Bandlaguda.
His son Sai Kumar has been asking his father to buy him a cell phone for quite some time but Narsimlu refused, this had enraged Sai Kumar and on May 15, he set his own father ablaze and locked the room from outside and had fled.
In the meantime, the neighbours of the deceased heard the screams and broke open the door and immediately shifted him to the hospital where he died during the treatment last night.
Police Chandrayangutta has registered a murder case and further investigations are in progress.
Man ends life
(Siasat News): A man hanged himself to death in Habeebnagar. It is said that the deceased Balraj, 25, was a painter and has been living at Shanti Nagar in Agapura.
Yesterday, he took the extreme step of ending his life. Police is yet to ascertain the cause of taking this extreme step
At present, the police is grilling his father Venakat Swamy in further investigations.
Retired man commits suicide
(Siasat News): A retired government employee took the extreme step of ending his life in suspicious circumstances in Himayathnagar.
It is said that the deceased Srinivas Rao, 68, was a retired government employee and has been living in Himayathnagar. He was under mental pressure for quite some time.
Police Narayanguda said that on May 9, Srinivas consumed some pesticide in suspicious circumstances in his house.
Though he was admitted to hospital but died last night during the treatment. Police is further investigating.
