Auto driver held for possessing lethal weapon
(Siasat News): The south zone team of commissioner task force has arrested an auto driver for illegally possessing lethal weapons and seized a sword.

As per the details, G Ashok, 25, resident of Rakshapuram, Santoshnagar had purchased a sword from a blacksmith and kept it in his house.

When task force came to know about it, Ashok’s house was raided and recovered the sword. He was later handed over to Santoshnagar police for further interrogation.

Mobile phone thieves arrested

(Siasat News): Madhapur police has arrested a 3-member gang involved in thefts of costly mobile phones in Hitech city, Madhapur. It is said that the gang members Mohd. Muzaffar, Mohd. Aijaz and Mohd. Ibrahim used to target software engineers working in Madhapur IT corridor.

Assistant commissioner of police, Madhapur division, Mr. Sridhar said this. He further said that the software engineers used to travel in share autos and the gang used to take advantage of this and stole their phones.

The accused belonged to the old city and seized 32 cell phones from their possession worth Rs. 6 lakh. They were later produced in the court and from there sent to jail.

Man commits suicide in Chudi Bazar

(Siasat News): A tea seller in Chudi Bazar committed suicide. This incident occurred in Sahahinayatgunj police station limits where one Sharanappa, 45, hanged himself to death.

Police is yet to ascertain the motive behind his suicide and further investigating.

Two drowned in Kukatpally and Bowenpally

(Siasat News): Two persons drowned in ponds situated in Kukatpally and Bowenpally.

Police Kukatpally said that Chandrasekhar, 15, was the son of one Krishna of Baba Sailani Nagar in Borabanda. On March 17, as it was Holi, he had gone to the pond along with his friends and drowned.

Police has fished out his dead body. The deceased was the student of class IX.

According to Bowenpally police, Praveen, 26, son of Pratap of Ambedkar Nagar. Yesterday, he had attended a function and later decided to swim in the nearby pond.

However, before going, he had consumed ‘sendhi’ and drowned in the pond during swimming. Police has registered both the cases and further investigations are in progress.
