Man dies in train accident

(Siasat News): A man died in a train accident occurred at Hafizpet but the deceased still remains unidentified who is said to be 60 years of age.

According to railway police Nampally, the deceased was hit by a train near Hafizpet railway station and was injured.

He was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries last night. Railway police is further investigating.

Car engulfed in flames, minor dies

(Siasat News): In a bizarre incident at Meerpet a car caught fire where a minor boy was killed and his elder brother sustained severe burn injuries.

In the meantime, inspector Meerpet Mr. Venkat Reddy said the incident occurred yesterday morning at Gayathri Nagar where 8-year-old Sareen Reddy died and his elder brother who is just 16, was severely burnt.

Both the brothers were the sons of one Suresh Reddy who is reportedly the sarpanch of a village in Mahboobnagar district. He had shifted his sons to Meerpet for their education.

Yesterday morning, the brothers were playing in their Zen car when all of a sudden, the car caught fire. Their family members immediately came to their rescue and tried to extinguish the fire but it was too late.

When the brothers were shifted to the hospital Sareen Reddy could not be survived. However, his elder brother is still under treatment.

Police Meerpet is further investigating.

Two women end life

(Siasat News): Two women committed suicide in two different incidents occurred at Mailardevpally and Santosh Nagar where one committed suicide because of the harassment of her in-laws and the other took the extreme step after having quarreled with her husband.

According to Mailardevpally police, the deceased Rizwana Begum, 30, was the wife of one Qasim of Apco colony, Kattedan.

On December 26, she had attempted suicide by pouring kerosene on her body and set herself ablaze. She was shifted to the hospital where she died during the treatment.

Police further said that Rizwana was under constant harassment by her in-laws.

Santosh Nagar police said 24-year-old Ayesha Siddiqui, was the wife of one Moinuddin of Golnaka.

Police sources said that on December 25, Ayesha Siddiqui had quarreled with her husband on a petty matter and later set herself ablaze.

She was taken to the hospital where she died during the treatment last night. Both the cases are registered and further investigations are underway.
