Husband held for harassment
(Siasat News): Shamshabad RGI police has arrested a man for allegedly harassing his wife for more dowry.
According to the detail, the woman Deepika, 22, resident of Hanuman Basthi had, lodged a complaint against her husband Nagraj Goud, father-in-law Venkatesh and mother-in-law Suvarna for allegedly harassing her for more dowry as they demanded Rs. 10 lakh from Deepika to be brought from her parents.
She got married in November, 2011 and ever since she was subjected to the constant harassment. RGI police arrested Nagraj and sent him to remand.
Youth attacked in Karwan
(Siasat News): Unidentified miscreants attacked a youth near Toli Masjid in Karwan. As per the details, Mohd. Imtiyaz, 30, was passing from Toli Masjid in his auto, was stopped by some miscreants who were under the influence of alcohol and seemed to be the part of the Ganesh immersion procession.
They asked his name and beat him. The auto driver was also the target of the miscreants as they tried to hit him with a boulder. Imtiyaz is admitted to a private hospital at Nanal Nagar and his condition is said to be out of danger.
