Infant’s dead body found
(Siasat News): Police has recovered the dead body of an infant from Bhavani Nagar area of the old city.
It is said that the corpse was lying in front of a madrasa in Kumharwadi. Police has shifted the corpse to Osmania Hospital’s mortuary after panchnama. Further investigations are on.
Journalist saved man from committing suicide
(Siasat News): In a bizarre incident, a man was saved from committing suicide by a daring journalist in old city’s Dabeerpura.
However, the man who wanted to commit suicide somehow fled the scene by dodging all of them including police.
It is said that to prevent such incidents, a high wall was constructed on Dabeerpura Flyover Bridge. But the unidentified man climbed the wall and was waiting for the train.
A huge crowd gathered there and police was also called but no one tried to bring him down. In the meantime, a TV journalist, who happened to be there, showed some daring and climbed the high wall and brought the man down.
The name of the journalist was Tayyab. People applauded his daring act but criticized the police on its inaction as well.
Man hangs to death
(Siasat News): A man committed suicide in S R Nagar by hanging. The deceased Yadgiri, 35, was a paper hawker and took the extreme step last night.
According to police, the deceased was an alcoholic and due to the bad health and financial problems, too the extreme step.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
2 die while crossing the railway track
(Siasat News): Two young men came under a speeding train when they were trying to cross the tracks from one platform to another.
The incident took place at Umdanagar railway station. The bodies are yet to be identified.
According to Kachiguda railway police, the incident took place at around 7 am on Wednesday when the young men aged 23-25 years, were trying to cross the railway tracks without realizing that a speeding train was on the same tracks.
