Woman’s decomposed body recovered from pond
(Siasat News): Police Kukatpally has recovered the decomposed body of a woman from a pond in the outskirts of the city which was allegedly been thrown in the pond some ten days back.
The deceased is in the age group of 25 to 30 years. It is suspected that the killers might have thrown the body in the pond situated in Pragati Nagar to eradicate the evidences.
Following the information of a panchayat employee, police came into action. According to police sources, the deceased was strangulated to death and after tying her legs and hands together; it was thrown in the pond with a heavy stone.
Police has registered a murder and eradicating the evidences case. Further investigations are on.
Injured man succumbed in the hospital
(Siasat News): Jeedimetla police has registered a case of murder after a man who was severely injured in the attack by some unidentified persons, succumbed to the injuries.
The deceased Gopal was attacked during the boozing session. It is suspected that some of the people of the company where Gopal was working as a labour might have committed the crime.
For the time being, Jeedimetla police did not say anything whereas inspector Sanjeev said that the deceased was an alcoholic and was always found under the influence of alcohol during the day hours too.
Further investigations are on.
4 held for rape and murder
(Siasat News): After two years of investigation, four people were arrested in connection with the rape and murder of a minor Dalit girl at Sanathnagar.
Police said that the accused committed the crime when the victim objected to0 them for parking their vehicle in front of her house.
The accused are sheikh Mansoor, 30, Mohd, Saleem, 26, Sheikh Asif, 22 from Borabanda and Mohd. Jabbar, 42 from Santhanagar. According to the police, the incident occurred on March 19, 2010.
The victim Triveni, 14, was the resident of Gayatrinagar. The four accused raped the girl and killed her with a rod.
