Furniture workshop gutted
(Siasat News): A furniture workshop gutted last night in a massive fire at Asifnagar. Police said that the workshop caught fire last night at 11.30 pm in which the entire furniture turned into ashes.
This incident sent panic waves in the neighbourhood where many residential buildings are located. However, the fire brigade controlled the fire in 5 hours.
Police suspect that the short circuit might be the reason of the inferno.
Van dashed to tree, one dies
(Siasat News): A labour died in a road accident when a speeding DCM van carrying milk, dashed to a tree in Malakpet.
Police said that at the time of the accident, A Suresh Kumar, 28, resident of Sunilguda was present in the van that collided with a tree.
Kumar sustained severe injuries in the accident and succumbed to his injuries when he was being shifted to the hospital.
Sweeper dies in road accident
(Siasat News): A 40-year-old GHMC sweeper died in a road accident when he was crossing the road.
According to L B Nagar police, the deceased B Babu Rao, resident of Balapur, Pahadi Shareef, was crossing a busy L B Nagar road last night when he was hit by a speeding lorry.
Babu Rao sustained severe injuries and died during the treatment. L B Nagar police has registered a case against the lorry driver.
Miscreants attacked Muslim youth
(Siasat News): A 26-year-old Muslim youth was attacked by some miscreants near Alwal chowrasta.
The youth Mohd. Ghouse, resident of Talabkatta, Bhavani Nagar, was returning from Humnabad on his bike. He was stopped by four veiled miscreants who asked his name and attacked him with lethal weapons. Ghouse became unsconscious and the attackers fled the scene.
In the meantime, some people of the locality informed about the incident to the relatives of Ghouse on his mobile phone.
He was later shifted to Durre Shahwar Hospital where he is under treatment.
Man jumps before the train
(Siasat News): A man, who was very upset over his deteriorating health, took the extreme step of ending his life by jumping before a running train.
Railway police Nampally said that the deceased A Laxmi Narayana, 40, was associated with medical profession, took the extreme step between Yakutpura and Uppuguda railway tracks.
Railway police has registered a case.
