Youth arrested for molesting girls
(Siasat News): Nacharam police has arrested a youth from a cyber café for molesting a Muslim girl.
As per the details, the said girl, 21, and the resident of VST colony, had gone to take a print out of her bio-data from the cyber café. The owner of the cyber café Vijaya Raghav Rao tried to molest the girl.
When the girl raised an alarm, the people from the locality gathered there and called the police. Nacharam police arrested him and recorded the girl’s statement.
A case against the accused was registered as per Nirbhaya Act and was sent to jail.
Missing man’s dead body found
(Siasat News): Vanasthalipuram police has fished out the dead body of one Madhav Reddy from Kappala talaab who was missing since April 16.
The deceased was an alcoholic. Police suspect that he might have fallen into the talaab under the influence of alcohol.
Police has registered a case and the dead body was sent to Osmania Hospital for post mortem.
Kirana shop burgled
(Siasat News): A kirana shop namely Dinesh Kirana and General Store situated on National Highway near Shamshabd RGI police station was burgled.
As per the details, the owner of the shop Prem Raj reached the shop this morning but was shocked to see the locks of the shop’s shutter broken.
He immediately lodged a complaint with Shamshabad RGI police and said that materials worth Rs. 2 lakh stolen from the shop. Further investigations are on.
Woman attempts suicide
(Siasat News): A woman who was very upset over the harassment of her husband, took the extreme step of ending her life.
According to Pahadi Shareef police, one Mubeena Begum, 24, resident of Wadi Mustafa, Shaheen Nagar, was married to one Dastagir. The couple has a daughter.
Police said that Dastagir was suspicious about his wife’s fidelity and used to torture her. When the harassment became intolerable, Mubeena poured kerosene on her body in her house and set herself ablaze and sustained 95% burns.
She was admitted to the hospital where her condition is said to be very critical.
