Rs. 10 lakhs stolen
(Siasat News): The robbers robbed off the house of a watchman in Banjara Hills police station limits and surprisingly made their escape good with Rs. 10 lakh.

As per the details, watchman Ramulu has been working as a watchman in an apartment in Srinagar colony. He had sold a plot owned by him in Hafizpet for Rs. 10 lakh.

However, he did not adopt any precaution in keeping the cash in his house. Late last night, some unidentified robbers entered his house and robbed the money.

Though Ramulu had lodged a complaint but police is suspecting him as he keeps on changing his statement and looked confused. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

ATM Card thief arrested

(Siasat News): The cyber crime police of central crime station have arrested a notorious ATM card thief. According to police, Funny Kumar, 32, native of Kakinada, was involved in the theft of ATM and Debit card.

However, on December 12, 2011, a woman Bhavya of Chikadpally had lodged a complaint with CCS police about the theft of an ATM card belonging Indian Overseas Bank.

She had mentioned in the complaint that the card was blocked by customer service center but it was too late as after the theft, the thief was succeeded spending Rs. 1,30,000 in buying various items.

In a similar incident, a woman from Maharashtra was also relieved of her Rs. 50,000 from her account through ATM. Cyber Crime police had registered a case in this connection. Funny Kumar was arrested on suspicion but he admitted that he had stolen money from various ATM centers.

Police also seized gold chain, bracelet and Rs. 25,000 in cash. Earlier, he was involved in similar ATM thefts in Banjara Hills and Begumpet and was sent to jail.
