Man held for sexually exploiting the minor
(Siasat News): Naredmet police has arrested a man for sexually exploiting a minor girl; Inspector Naredmet Mr. Chandrababu said that the accused Sampath, 28, is a supervisor of an Ashram.
However, the mother of 12-year-old girl alleged that he has been misbehaving with the class VI student and sexually exploiting him. Sampath was found guilty during the investigation by the police.
Following the complaint of the mother, he was arrested and given to judicial custody.
Rape victim ends life
(Siasat News): A girl from Chaitanyapuri of Cyberabad ended her life by jumping in Nagarajuna Sagar’s Right Canal. She was identified as 23-year-old Anusha Reddy.
As per the details, the girl along with her father Shyam Sunder Reddy, brother and grandmother was going to Macherla in a car.
Near Right Canal, she asked the driver to stop the car and on the excuse of answering nature’s call, she left the car and jumped into the canal. The victim was under mental pressure.
Police Chaitanyapuri had already arrested Gunta Rajesh, chairman of a temple committee, for allegedly raping her. A case under Nirbhaya Act was registered against him and he was in judicial custody.
Anusha was very upset ever since and took the extreme step.
