Fake currency note racket unearthed

Hyderabad, September 1 (Siasat News): Afzalgunj police has unearthed a 3-member-gang involved in the making of fake currency notes and seized over Rs. One lac from their possession.

It is said that one Shyam Johan of Bangalore city, was trying his hand in fake currency business in the city with the help of his two aides P Alliah and P Gajendra.

Police said that Shyam was earlier arrested in connection with the same by Cyberabad police in 2010 whereas his aide Alliah was also arrested in connection with some offences by Kurnool police.

John and Alliah, with the help of Gajendra and Rameshm received a sum of Rs. One lac in the form of fake currency and reached Mahatama Gandhi Bus station at Imliban where they were arrested by Afzalgunj police team and recovered Rs.1, 0,8000 from their possession. Further investigations are on.

Murder plot uprooted, two held

Hyderabad, September 1 (Siasat News): Commissioner Task force of south zone has arrested two youths from old city and unearthed a murder plot. It is said that commissioner task force, on a tip off, arrested one Abdul Khaja, 30 alias chhota Khaja of Hafizbaba Nagar and his aide Mohd. Younus of Yakutpura and grilled them.

The grilling revealed that earlier, Khaja was associated with a notorious pickpocket Mansoor gang. He got the support from one Abu rowdy sheeter and Husseini Alam police as well.

It was also revealed that Abu and Mansoor’s gang were at the loggerheads for quite some time.

However, in the month of July this year, Abu and Mansoor hatched a plot to eliminate the kingpin of Fayyaz gang i.e. Fayyaz himself. But the timely action of the police refrained them in committing the crime and they were arrested.

Police also recovered lethal weapons from their possession. All arrested are handed over to Santosh Nagar police station.
