Youth held for sexual harassment
(Siasat News): Jubilee Hills police has arrested a youth in connection with sexual harassment by him to a married woman. As per the details, the accused Avinash had come to his sister’s house two days ago.
He called a lady residing on the first floor and asked her to light the stove. However, when the said lady reached there, Avinash tried to molest her but she resisted and slapped him.
She immediately left the house and lodged a complaint with Jubilee Hills police against the youth and Avinash was arrested
Man dies in train accident
(Siasat News): A man was hit by a train in Cherlapally, severely injured. According to railway police Secunderabad, the 40-year-old deceased was trying to cross the tracks between Maula Ali and Cherlapally railway stations without realizing that a fast train approaching him.
He was shifted to a hospital where he died during the treatment. Railway police is further investigating.
Miscreants attacked Muslim youth
(Siasat News): A gang of miscreants attacked a Muslim youth late last night at Jhirra in Asifnagar. According to police, the victim Muneer, has been working as a cellphone mechanic at Jagdish Market.
Last night, when he was passing from Taj Island, Nampally, a gang of miscreants from Mangod Basthi at Afzal Sagar attacked him in which he was severely injured.
He was admitted in a corporate hospital. In the meantime, Nampally police has registered a case against one Vijay Kumar and others a manhunt is launched.
Man involved in theft for wife’s treatment, held
(Siasat News):In a bizarre case, Panjagutta police has arrested a man who was involved in theft for the treatment of his wife.
As per the details, the accused Srinivas was very upset as his wife was admitted in NIMS and for her treatment; he tried to borrow some money from his friend. Srinivas, 39, native of Siddipet, is a farmer.
He had gone to bank in Srinagar colony on November 13 to for the encashment of the cherub given by his friend. However, the bank staff did not make the payment as the signature on the cheque was not tallied with the signature of the account holder.
A disappointed Srinivas stole the money kept on the counter and fled. Police said that to foot the bills of the hospital, he had stolen a sum of Rs. 2,30,000 which was recovered by the police. Further investigations are in progress.
