Youth held for tricking girls

Hyderabad, February 19 (Siasat News): Police nabbed a person who was luring young girls in the name of friendship and collecting money from them and later duping them.

The accused P Sudhir, 20, is a resident of Kushaiguda and pursuing a course in animation. Addicted to lavish lifestyle, Sudhir began cheating girls to meet his expenditure.

Recently, Sudhir asked a girl to come to Secunderabad and snatched her bag containing Rs. 6000 cash, mobile phone and other valuables.

Police recovered the money, a gold ring, cell phones and SIM cards from him.

Vehicle lifters arrested

Hyderabad, February 19 (Siasat News): Four automobile offenders were arrested by the CCS sleuths and property worth more than Rs. 4 lakh recovered from them.

The arrested included Md. Imran of Vattepally, Qalandar Khan of Kishanbagh, Md. Shahbaz Ahmed of Vattepally and Meer Mustafa Ali of Kanchanbagh.

Police recovered three four-wheelers and a two-wheeler from them. Further investigations are on.

Woman rescued from Hussain Sagar

Hyderabad, February 19 (Siasat News): A woman who jumped into the Husasin Sagar lake, was rescued by passerby who had come to attend a political meeting in the city and happened to be around the lake at the time of the incident.

20-year-old Indu, a resident of Lingampally jumped into the Hussain Sagar to end her life. She works as a beautician at Malaysian Township at Kukatpally.

The cause of attempted suicide is yet to be ascertained.
