Enraged wife set husband ablaze
(Siasat News):In a bizarre incident, a wife poured kerosene on his husband’s body and set him ablaze out of rage. This incident occurred at Shri Venkatesh Nagar in Kulsumpura.
According to inspector Kulsumpura Mr. Tarun Kumar Singh, 23-year-old Shiv Kumar runs a scrap business in Begum Bazar. He got married in January this year with one Preethi.
However, both husband and wife started quarrelling after a few days and this had become the order of the day. Even last night, the same thing happened.
When Shiv Kumar was fast asleep, his wife poured kerosene on his body and set him ablaze, further investigations are on.
Mentally retarded raped, driver held
(Siasat News): Police Trimulgherry has arrested a GHMC driver with the help of a citizen. The driver was involved in raping a mentally retarded woman.
As per the details, Venkatesh, 25, resident of Balapur. is a contract driver with GHMC. Today, he kidnapped the woman and took her to CSD canteen near a banyan tree and raped her.
He wanted to flee the scene but an alert citizen N K Rama Krishna, resident of Sainikpuri chased him and with the help of Gopalapuram Rakshak police, succeeded to nab him.
The affected woman was shifted to Gandhi Hospital where she is under treatment. The driver was produced before the magistrate at his residence.
