Extortion gang unearthed
(Siasat News): Police unearthed a gang of extortionists in Cyberabad East Commissionerate in which a constable and a home guard are also involved belonged to Octopus wing of the police department.
Their modus operandi was such that they used to go to the gambling dens and posed themselves as the members of the special team of the police and this is how they were forcibly using taking the money.
This gang had committed a sensational crime in Uppal recently. All the arrested culprits are handed over to judicial custody.
Love Marriage with sister’s husband, duo arrested
(Siasat News): Malkajgiri police has arrested a woman and her husband as she had deceived her own sister and married her husband.
Sources said that following the complaint of one Sravanthi, police came into action and arrested her husband Venkatesh and her sister Saisri, 24. The complainant is the native of Karimnagar and she got married to one Venkatesh, resident of Maula Ali and an executive working in a real estate company.
Last year Sravanthi had permitted her sister Saisri to live with her for her educational purpose. However, Saisri also started working to meet her educational expenses as she didn’t want to become a burden to her sister.
In the meantime, she got closer to her brother-in-law that turned into love affair and later they had developed illicit physical relations.
Venkatesh married her secretly by deceiving his wife. After the marriage, Venkatesh shifted Saisri to Vijayawada and his timings for arrival and departure to his house was totally changed.
His wife grew suspicious and started investigations in her own way and shocked to learn that both her husband and her sister had deceived her and broken her confidence. She lodged a complaint with the police and both were arrested.
