Man blackmails beloved, arrested
(Siasat News): The cyber crime police of Cyberabad have arrested a private employee who had duped his beloved by making false promise of marriage and blackmailing her with the help of her obscene photos.

It is said that one Siddhant Raj Srivastav, native of Vasanthnagar, Bangalore, has been harassing his colleague and demanding money.

When the resident of Gachibowli, the woman colleague got fed up of the constant harassment, she lodged a complaint with crime police in which she said that Siddhant befriended her on the pretext of marriage and later with the help of her semi0nude photos, he was blackmailing her.

In order to destroy the photos, he demanded Rs. 5 lakh. Cyber crime police has registered a case and arrested Siddhnat from Bangalore.

During interrogation, he revealed that he had befriended his beloved during their service in a private company in Balanagar between 2010 to 2013.

Siddhant is already married and also promised his beloved for marriage and was succeeded in transferring a sum of Rs. 6 lakh into the account of his wife by duping his beloved.

Siddhant was shifted to Hyderabad and sent to jail.

Minor fell in water sump, dies

(Siasat News): A minor accidentally fell down in a water sump and died in Mailardevpally. Sub-inspector Akram Baba said the deceased Mohd. Naveed was the son of one Mohd. Nazir of Moghal colony, Mailardevpally.

Yesterday, he was busy playing near his house but in due course, he went to his neighbour’s house. There, as the fate had it, he fell down in a water sump without anybody’s knowledge.

When he did not return for three to four hours, his family members became worried and a search was launched.

After some time, he was found in the water sump. He was brought out and taken to a hospital where the doctors declared him dead. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.


Woman succumbed to burn injuries

(Siasat News): A woman, who was accidentally burnt at Kalepatthar in old city, succumbed to her injuries. Police said that the deceased Ayesha Fatima, 29, was the wife of one Baqar Mohiuddin of Kalepatthar.

On June 16, when she was busy cooking in her kitchen, she accidentally burnt and was shifted to hospital where she died last night during the treatment.

Police further said that she got married just four years ago and had no children. A case has been registered and further investigations are in progress.
